Finally, the never-ending query as to when the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather is bound to happen has finally been closed. It has already been accepted that it would be impossible to get this two hot shots to fight in the same ring against each other.

However, boxing fans should not take this as a big disappointment in the 2011 boxing scene. Though Mayweather may not be that determined to get it all out in a punching bout against Pacquiao, Mosley is definitely armed to the teeth to fight Pacquiao in their scheduled May 7, 2011 boxing match.

Yes, you read it right. The fight between these two pound-for-pound champions has already been set and is currently making waves in the betting scenes. Pacquiao is leading and is making incredulous betting figures. In one betting site, you would need to place a 750 dollar bet on Pacquiao just so you could win a hundred dollars. And, if you bet on Mosley for a hundred bucks, you would be able to win 450 dollars. It has been expected that this kind of betting statistics will further continue as the Pacquiao vs. Mosley fight nears.

Boxing analysts say that this is very predictable considering the record that Pacquiao holds. His latest ring conquers were all victorious, earning him new title belts and a ferocious reputation of being able to win match after match over bigger and more powerful opponents. However, this should not make Pacquiao comfortable with his lead over Mosley whose boxing career has recently been tainted with illegal use of performance enhancing drugs. Mosley has everything to earn in this fight and nothing to lose except for the fact that his boxing career will definitely go down much lower than ever in the event that he loses over the 32 year old Manny. The motivation to get back what he has lost along with his skills in boxing is more than enough to make the 39 year old Mosley a dangerous competitor.
Surely, a lot of people will say that Pacquiao will still be able to dominate this match. The problem, however, is that there is really no telling as to how much Mosley has prepared and invested just to be able to get this fight. Pacquiao has a 52 wins, 38 by knockout, 2 loses and 2 draws record, while Mosley has his 46 wins, 39 by knockout, 6 loses and 1 draw to boast of. Nothing is certain until that May 7 Pacquiao vs. Mosley fight happens.

After the disintegrated fight between Mayweather and Pacman, the Cowboys spoke person Brett Daniels don’t want to give falsehood information about this parley. Before Clottey’s name is brought out here, Pacman’s trainer Freddie Roach and Canadian Adviser Michael Knocz have talked and negotiate a fight between Yuri Foreman and Manny Pacquiao, however Pacman’s trainer and adviser disagreed to this.

Among the boxers option to fight Pacman are Shane Mosley who has a fight this January 30, Antonio Margarito who is not available and Miguel Cotto who was in recent times smashed by Pacman.

Top Rank Promotion is still discussing the PACMAN-CLOTTEY’S bout with Vinny Scolpino, the manager of Clottey and they are looking forward to get this fight on since Clottey is yearning for almost years now to fight with a known boxer. Since both rivalries are under Top Rank Promotion, their executives are positive to get this fight on the 13th day of March.

Mr. Bob Arum has given his word about the pull out fight between Pacman and Mayweather Jr. Though Pacman-Clottey’s fight is still under negotiation Pacman with his team are schedule to take off in Los Angeles on January 17, 2010 for the start of his 8 weeks training. Even if the Pacman and Mayweather bout was declared off, Floyd Mayweather is still yearning to fight Pacman, yet Bob Arum said that their fight won’t be possible anymore for this year.

Though Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey’s fight may not be spark that as much interest with Mayweather and Pacman’s fight still Clottey is the best choice and is worth to fight for according to some boxing analysts. Clottey has showed his skills and class on all his fights even his recently concluded fight with Cotto. Clottey lost his fight with Cotto but many boxing analysts said that Clottey’s fight with Cotto proves that his defense is certainly atop above others and Clottey is the best and most credible welterweight fighter available.

Let’s just wait and see then!

March 13, 2010 is the said to be date for the bout between PACMAN and Floyd Mayweather; however the fights veracity will not be seen anymore on the screen for such drawback encountered along the negotiation of this greatest fight. On the other side of the coin, many boxing fanatic is still longing to see a different bout this year in the boxing history. Many is questioning, how different may possibly be the bout between Joshua Clottey and Manny Pacquiao? Is it also a must seen fight of the year or just same as the brawl we’ve been seeing before? Boxing enthusiast would like to witness a peculiar bout this year and many is seeing that the fight between PACMAN and Mayweather Jr. will reach the expectations of many.

Who is really Joshua Clottey? Clottey is a 32 years old boxer from Ghanaian, a country is West Africa. He is welterweight fighter with a boxing record of 35 wins with 20 knockout and 3 losses, two of these losses is a knock out.

Considering this numbers or boxing records of Clottey many may raise their eyebrows if they hear someone saying “how competent Joshua Clottey to fight the number one Filipino boxer and the number one pound for pound champion? As for me, the question is not how competent a boxer in a fight but how he actually fights on the ring on the said date. Though being confidence and competent is a good virtue to possess in winning a fight but what matters most is how you show your shining prowess as a boxer during the actual fight. Many competitions were lost because of over confidence. A boxer may be confident to fight now but if not properly manage during the actual bout the boxer’s confidence and competency will draw him back off the boxing arena.

Though PACMAN and Floyd Mayweather’s bout were collapsed and the fight between Clottey-Pacman is may not be as much as interesting as with Mayweather and Pacman, still many will see this fight to see it for themselves!

<img alt="" src="http://www.vanesboxing.com/media_images/logo_toprank.com.jpg" class="aligncenter" width="195" height=”112″ />Everybody and anybody got their own view point of whom is the top boxer in the world. No one will denounce you that you are right or wrong if you say that this particular boxer is the tops boxer for you. There’s no such thing as right and wrong with it comes to saying your point of view. While surfing we for sure have seen lots of website or perhaps on magazine on hand that gives you the top ten boxers of the world. Below are the lists of tops ten boxers I have found in almost all website.

10 Miguel Cotto – has a boxing record of; 34 Wins, 2 Losses, 27 Knockouts

9. Israel Vasquez – his boxing record is; 44 Wins, 4 Losses, 32 Knockouts

8. Chad Dawson – has a total fights of; 29 Wins, 0 Losses, 1 No Contest, 17 Knockouts

7. Arthur Abraham – has a total fights of; 31 Wins, 0 Losses, 25 Knockouts

6. Bernard Hopkins – has a boxing record of 50 Wins, 5 Losses, 1 Draw, 1 No-contest, 32 Knockouts

5. Juan Manuel Marquez – has a total of 50 wins, 5 losses, 1 draw, 37 knockouts

4. Paul Williams – he has total fights 39; 38 wins and 27 by knockouts and losses 1 fight

3. Shane Mosley – he has total fights of 52 fights; 46 wins, 39 of this 46 wins is by knockouts and has 5

2. Floyd Mayweather Jr. – who is also a pound for pound king of his time, he has 40 wins by knockout and no losses.

1. Many Pacquiao – is on the lead for he was the first Filipino boxer who won seven titles in seven different divisions.

Different websites has their own way of declaring that this boxer is the number one boxer on the lists. I respect their notion and pronouncement of whom is the top boxer for them. However, still lots of boxing aficionado would agree to the pronouncement of Mr. Bob Arum of the Top Rank Promotion. He had said that the Philippines pride Many Pacman Pacquiao is the best fighter that he has ever seen who is alike with Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and Marvin Hagler.

He said so, because he has seen how Pacman prove his boxing prowess in different divisions. He has noticed that Pacman can outpunch a bigger guy whom is one of the top welterweight boxers of the world and that was Miguel Cotto. According to Mr. Arum, on track of Pacman’s boxing career, Pacman started with a gangly flyweight almost 14 years ago and he’s now the most frightened fighters in the world today. Does everyone agree with Mr. Bob Arum? The judgment is yours!

Many boxing fanatic and enthusiasts are looking forward to witness the said to be “the greatest fight of this era”; the brawl and bout between the two pound for pound kings of the world, Floyd “Pretty Boy” Mayweather Jr. and the pride of Filipino Many “Pacman” Pacquiao is now a done deal and that’s going to be on the 13th day of March at MGM Grand Garden arena, combating the belt for 147 pound or 66kilograms or the welterweight

This fight is going to be a battle of name and pride between the two greatest boxers. To every boxing fanatics, analyst, and the people all over the world, this is a must seen fight and a fight that they shouldn’t miss. I don’t have any idea how will be grateful each countrymen of these two boxers if they will bring home the bacon for this fight. However, before this two boxers show their shining prowess and fabulous moves on the 13th day of March, let’s have a peep on their achievements before they became a pound for pound king.

Do we know a little something about Floyd Mayweather Jr.? I’m pretty sure you would love to know facts about the first pound for pound king of world. Here are some details about him. As we all know he’s father is also a boxer, Mr. Floyd Mayweather Sr., whom is also a welterweight runner on his time. He has two uncles that are also on the same sport, Jeff Mayweather and Roger Mayweather, both won a championship titles. Mayweather Jr. has unbeatable boxing record of 40 wins by 25 knockouts, no losses and that totaling 40 fights in the boxing history. He’s have been a champion for six different weight division including, super featherweight, lightweight, junior welterweight, welterweight and junior middleweight among others.

What about the pride of the Philippines, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao? In same manner or more you may also want to know a little something about him. Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao is his real name. His brother Bobby Pacquiao followed his footstep in the boxing arena. His boxing records; total fights of 55, won 50 fights and 38 of this fight are knockouts, three losses and 2 draws. PACMAN is currently the number 1 pound for pound king of the world rated by the Ring Magazine. He has won seven different titles that is history in making. These seven different divisions includes WBO World welterweight champion, light welterweight champion, WBC World super featherweight , IBF World super bantamweight champion, WBC World flyweight champion. He is also considered as a lineal champion in five different weight classes.

These facts are just few to note too however many boxing followers and enthusiast would like to know this detail just to at least know how these two boxer got the title as the pound for pound king of their time. There are some boxing contenders which Pacman and Pretty Boy have both fought. Among them are Oscar De viagra Hoya, Ricky Hatton and Juan Manuel Marquez.

The bout between Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya gave Mayweather the title as the WBC Super Welterweight title on May 5, 2007 while Many Pacquiao fought a non-title fight with De La Hoya. Mayweather fought with Ricky Hatton to retain as the WBC welterweight champion and he made it while Pacman fought Hatton to get the IBO and Ring Magazine World Light Welterweight Titles and he won. Pacman fought Juan Manuel Marquez twice. On the first they are trying to get the WBA and IBF World Featherweight Titles on the line however none of them get the title because the bout is a draw. On the second bout Pacman able to won WBC and vacant ring magazine world super featherweight title. Floyd Mayweather on the other hand fought Marquez to show his competence in boxing though he stopped for a years. His fought with Marquez is his come back bout.

Currently, the said to be “the greatest fight of this era” has lot of upheavals. Both fighters need to do some urine and drug test and analysis because Floyd Mayweather allegedly pinpoint that the Philippines pride Manny Pacman Pacquiao is using drugs and steroids. Perhaps this most awaited fight might be reschedule or worst will not come into reality.

The Filipino boxer Manny Pac Man Pacquiao looks forward to his bout with Miguel Cotto under the welterweight title scheduled for the next Saturday, November 14 since a win will lead him to his record seventh title. Fans have been eagerly awaiting this bout and the venue is Las Vegas’ MGM Grand.

It is scheduled for Saturday night and given the importance of the match the event has attracted a considerable amount of advertising and is been promoted well. Television viewers can view the fight at 9:30 p.m. on Pay-per-view of HBO. As with any major fight, this bout too will make its appearance in well-known websites and social networking sites.

Manny Pacquiao is just 29 years of age and already he has earned the reputation of winning all the titles under six weight categories and if he succeeds in winning over Miguel Cotto he will become the first boxer to have accomplished the record of winning seven titles under various categories ranging from 112 – 140 pounds. His world titles are ‘Junior Welterweight’, ‘WBC Flyweight’, ‘IBF Super Bantamweight’, ‘Featherweight’ (Ring Magazine), ‘Super Featherweight’ (WBC) etc.

Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico has three championship wins to his credit and if Miguel Cotto manages to outshine Manny Pacquiao, he will continue his sequential title wins that he has managed from the year 2004. The titles that he has bagged are ‘WBO Light Welterweight’, ‘WBA Welterweight’ and ‘WBO Welterweight’. No doubt, the competitors are practising hard to outsmart each other at the bout.

The fan base for boxing has increased largely throughout the world and this is evident from the grand success of the previous bouts telecasted by HBO Pay-per-view during this year. Fans become greatly interested in a match after reading the boxer’s previous record and past news. The boxers fight hard and this adds to the delight of the fans.

Update: Manny Pacquiao Got it…
